SECURITY ROLES USAGE

R&D's Home and Projects pages illustrate using Security Roles to conditionally display pages and page content (modules).


This R&D sub-portal utilizes 5 sets of SECURITY LEVELS:

1- Unregistered (not logged in) - UNREGISTERED (or visitor)

2- Anyone (all security levels)- PUBLIC (what everyone sees)

3- Authenticated/(Registered) (logged in) - AUTHORIZED
- use guest,demo
- or Register and Login with your own account

4- Privileged - PRIVILEGED (granted)
- use guest2,demo

5- Administrator - UNRESTRICTED (generally has access to all)


Login and Logout between the first 4 Security Roles (above) to see examples of changed access to pages and page content within this sub-portal.

Additional Security Roles can be freely defined for any portal or sub-portal to extend security levels and classifications.
