Our portal uses the DotNetNuke portal engine (Version 3.1.1, soon to be updgraded to Version 4.x) and illustrates some of its powerful features. The engine is built with Microsoft's ASP.Net technology, incorporates best practice features and techniques, is highly extensible, and - perhaps best of all - is FREE!
FREE? While you can certainly spend a lot of money on other high end portal technologies (such as IBM's WebSphere), DotNetNuke is Open Source and FREE! This means that you get the entire portal engine (with core modules and functionality) absolutely free, including all of the VB.Net source code. Customized skins and modules can easily be added and the core functionality can be modified and extended. This makes it highly extensible!

What's a Web Portal?

A Web Portal is a data-driven website that dynamically generates web pages that can contain multiple web applications, web XML services, and other static and dynamic web content. Virtually any type of web content and functionality can be included in a web portal. It is therefore a robust platform providing an entry - or portal - into a rich collection of inter-related capabilties.
Web Page Content Creation and Management is performed directly within a Web Browser (such as Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, etc.) by Administrators and Authorized Users. No programming skills or web authoring programs are required - just add, change and delete content directly in your browser! This provides an excellent, cost-effective vehicle for websites that require collaborative content development and/or frequent content updates.
The basic parts of the DotNetNuke portal engine are: Page Skins (designs), Page Components, Content Panes, Module (or Container) Skins (designs), Module Components, Modules (to contain content), and Content (text, graphics, HTML code, web applications & services, and more).

PARDON OUR LATENESS!
We know that some of the links, third-party providers and other reference are now obsolete.
This portal is still our older DNN 3.x version. Though our newer and fuller versions have been under development, we have been extremely busy with other important developments (for clients as well as internally). The current 4.x versions of DotNetNuke have evolved very impressively and we are anxious to showcase many of the exciting new features and performance enhancements. We are also preparing to release an extremely powerful and affordable eCommerce solution.
With all of this going on, we are redesigning and integrating all of our sites and features from the ground up.
We hope to be ready to unveil all of our new websites, portals, features and offerings in early 2010.
