Flexible CSS Styling

Every Aggregator instance can be styled individually with CSS - Cascading Style Sheets.

The size and styling presentation can be designed for selected tabs, unselected tabs, rollover tabs, the tab strip (the container of all tabs) and the content 'page'. Any module content can be presented within each content 'page'.

See the several examples on this page which represent only some of the possibilities.

Easy to Use

You configure each Aggregator instance simply by specifying the tabbing type (Top, Bottom, Left, Right or Inline), the base CSS style name to apply, and the modules to insert into each 'tab' page.

To place a module within an Aggregator instance, you first create the module on the page in normal fashion. Then you tell Aggregator to include this module (the system then takes it out of the regular page layout and inserts it into an Aggregator tab). At that point, you can still edit the module as well as reposition it (tab sequence) and remove it (back to the regular page layout).

That's all there is to it!

Aggregator (Tabbed Modules) - Custom Module

While this custom module is NOT FREE, it is very inexpensive ($29.95 the last time I looked), easy to use and well worth having!

The Aggregator module, developed by DNN Stuff, is a well done implementation of in-page content tabbing - a great real estate saver. Each tab usually contains a single module (any module), unless the module is itself another multi-module container. The tabbing behavior (hiding and showing a tab's module content) is performed locally within the browser (rather than using a slower server method).

The module provides for five (5) tabbing positions - top, bottom, left, right and inline - and its presentation can be flexibly styled with CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). See more about styling in the left sidebars.

Some samples are provided below. Though you can put any module into a tab, all of the below samples present some interesting and fun eye candy.
